TWO DIFFERENT SERIES

Our lure models are divided into two distinct series, each with its own unique charm and characteristics. These series are named after warriors and weapons from medieval Japan.

BUSHIDO SERIES

The Way of the Warrior is a belief system of Japanese warriors who enjoyed unparalleled discipline. These warriors served the Emperor's shogunate. Killer Instinct Customs named its glider jerkbait series after this belief system.

TOTEKI BUKI SERIES

The Toteki Buki Series is named after the throwing weapons used and feared in ancient Japan. These weapons were simple and small, yet extremely deadly. This is also the perfect description for all the models in this series: fast, simple, and exceptionally effective.

BUSHIDO SERIES
SHINOBI Jerk

The Shinobi is designed to be a smaller yet effective glider jerkbait for larger predators. It took 4 months just to make it perfect suspending. Even though the standard model offers the user more suspending time, we wanted it to be a fully custom model. Add extra weight to fish it in deeper waters or an additional high frequency rattle system. Smaller treblehooks or a bit bigger. The Shinobi is fully customizable.

This glider jerkbait comes in a standard model. The suspending time is up to 9 full seconds which allows you to give a nosy predator more time to study its prey before it strikes. Another great feature is the ability to fish it really slow and add bursts of speed to make the lure even more attractive. The Shinobi is a true silent killer and of course, named after the old shadow warriors from feudal Japan. It's one of the most versatile glider jerkbaits designed by Killer Instinct Customs and we are proud of it.

BUSHIDO SERIES
SAMURAI JERK II

The Samurai Jerk II is a direct successor to the first version. This glider jerkbait is simple yet incredibly carefully balanced. Its action is consistent and extremely effective. The Samurai Jerk II was the first glider jerkbait in the Bushido series, thanks in part to its perfect balance and phenomenal action. The Samurai Jerk II fishes and handles just like a glider jerkbait should.

This glider jerkbait comes in one size (4.6 inches) and is particularly effective for the more aggressive predators like pike, muskie, wels catfish, and bass. Use these glider jerkbaits preferably in water with moderate currents. The Samurai Jerk II is suitable for all seasons and is fully customizable to your preference. Warning: The Samurai Jerk II is a glider jerkbait. It requires a specific technique to create action. This lure requires some experience.

BUSHIDO SERIES
SAMURAI JERK III

The Samurai Jerk III is the ultimate successor to the second version. This third version has been refined to perfection and features an optional weight ramp system that not only allows for longer casting but also influences its behavior. The action can be made less predictable, making this jerkbait less consistent and thus perfectly simulating a weakened or injured prey fish. The Samurai Jerk III offers more customization options than its predecessor.

The Samurai Jerk III is part of the Bushido series and comes in two sizes. The standard version is 4.6 inches (12 centimeters) and the larger version is 5.8 inches (15 centimeters). This glider jerkbait allows for easy customization and offers space for additional options. Warning: The Samurai Jerk II is a glider jerkbait. It requires a specific technique to create action. This lure requires some experience.

Toteki Buki Series
SHURIKEN II

The Shuriken II is an improved version of the standard Shuriken, which was originally intended as a crankbait with a diving lip. Because the diving lip didn't deliver the desired action, the Shuriken was further developed as an extremely loud lipless crankbait. This second version did not disappoint in any way. The Shuriken is named after a Japanese throwing knife from the Middle Ages and came in various shapes. These throwing knives and/or stars were extremely fast weapons. This speed is reflected in the Shuriken II. The lure can be retrieved at a higher speed to challenge medium-sized or larger predators.

The Shuriken is loud! Inside the lure, ample space is utilized for rattle chambers and extra weight. The Shuriken is particularly adaptable to different weights. The more weight you add, the more intense the action and vibrations, and the deeper it runs. The Shuriken can be fished from the shore with less weight, but it's also an excellent lure for trolling from behind a boat. The Shuriken is exceptionally versatile and comes in two sizes: 4.8 inches (12 centimeters) and a smaller 3.3 inches (8 centimeters).

Swimbait
SUMO SWIM

This very large, one-piece swimbait is a heavyweight. It's no wonder it's named after the Sumo wrestlers. Despite its size and weight, this one-piece swimbait glides gracefully through the water. This glider is unsuitable for fishing from the banks, but the Sumo truly shows its strength when trolled behind a boat. The Sumo is a big target for big fish!

The Sumo was originally designed as a glider jerkbait. But its large volume and wide build gave us other potential. Why not build a swimbait from it? We did, and the result is impressive. The Sumos are 6.9 inches (18 centimeters) long and weigh a whopping 170 to 175 grams. The Sumos are fully adjustable and come standard with a heavy-duty frequency ratchet and two size 2/0 Gamakatsu treble hooks.
